Closing the Chapter: A Gentle Year-End Reflection

As the year comes to a close, you’re standing at a natural pause point. A threshold. Not to judge or critique yourself—but to witness. Reflection is one of the most powerful forms of integration. When you slow down long enough to look back, you gather wisdom, reclaim energy, and soften into appreciation for the journey you’ve just lived.

This isn’t about forcing positivity or rewriting history. It’s about telling the truth of your experience—with compassion.

The past year likely held contrast. Expansion and contraction. Moments of clarity alongside moments of confusion. And all of it shaped you in ways that may not be fully visible yet. Reflection helps those hidden threads come into view.

Before you begin, create a simple container:
Light a candle. Make a cup of tea. Take a few deep breaths. Let your nervous system know it’s safe to remember.

Then, move through the prompts slowly. You don’t need to answer all of them in one sitting. Trust what wants to be explored.
