50 Affirmations for Self-Worth
You were born worthy.
Before you accomplished anything, proved anything, helped anyone, earned anyone's approval, or figured out what you were here to do, you were already worthy. Your worth was never something you had to earn.
And yet, somewhere along the way, many of us learned to measure our worth by things outside ourselves. We learned to look at what we've accomplished, how productive we've been, how much money we make, how we look, whether other people approve of us, or how well we seem to have life figured out.
When those things are going well, we feel good about ourselves. When they're not, our sense of worth can begin to wobble.
But your circumstances don't determine your worth. Neither do your mistakes, your past, your bank account, your relationship status, your age, your body, or anyone else's opinion of you.
Your worth is already there. Sometimes you simply need to remember it.
Remembering Your Own Worth
Positive affirmations can help us begin changing the inner conversation we've been having with ourselves. If you've spent years thinking, I'm not good enough, repeating I am worthy once probably isn't going to erase that belief overnight. But it can introduce another possibility.
With repetition, that new thought can begin to feel a little more familiar.
You don't have to force yourself to believe an affirmation that feels completely out of reach. Choose the statements that create even a small sense of openness or relief. You might find yourself thinking, Maybe that's true. That's a beautiful place to begin.
Here are 50 affirmations to help you reconnect with your inherent worth.

Let the Words Become Your Own
You don't need to repeat all 50 affirmations every morning. In fact, you may find it more meaningful to choose three or four that speak directly to something you're working through right now.
Write them somewhere you'll see them. Repeat one while you're getting ready in the morning. Put one on your phone. Say one quietly to yourself when you notice an old thought of unworthiness appearing.
And pay attention to how the words feel.
If I am worthy of abundance immediately brings up a voice that says, No, you're not, you haven't failed at affirmations. You've simply discovered a belief that may be ready for a little more love and attention.
You might begin with something gentler, such as, I am open to recognizing my own worth, and allow yourself to grow from there.
Affirmations aren't magic words that make difficult feelings disappear. They're a way of consciously participating in the relationship you have with yourself. Each time you choose a kinder thought, question an old belief, honor a boundary, listen to your inner knowing, or allow yourself to receive something good, you're reinforcing a different message:
I matter.
Your worth isn't waiting somewhere in the future for a more successful, healed, spiritual, confident, or accomplished version of you to finally claim it. It's here now.
You don't have to become worthy. You only have to remember that you already are.
